Sock Attack(WIP)

I got done with the Braids Cardigan last night. It fits beautifully after I added about three inches of stitches picked up on the bottom hem. Now, it is tunic length and not waist length. Much better.

I am still exactly at the same point on the WendyKnits Summer Mystery Shawlette. That project will get broken out tomorrow probably for WWKIP. I am planning on hitting the gathering at a local yarn shop!

The other WIP that really needs attention is the second sock in Knitpicks Felici sportweight in the Sticks and Stones color way. The first sock is done. The second sock is mostly knit up to the heel.

Scooby Doo Shawl

I am starting the WendyKnits Summer Mystery Shawlette. I am using Dream in Color Smooshy in the Strange Harvest colorway that I bought at Finger Lakes Fibers in Watkins Glen, New York about a year and a half ago.

I have already had to rip back two times on Clue 2. It is not the pattern, just me getting used to reading through all the directions carefully.

I bought this yarn originally to make some socks, but it just wasn't going to happen. The color is very odd so I am thinking about over dyeing the finished shawlette with a tea solution to make the green a little darker and less olive toned.

Anyone have any opinions or experience with dyeing with Tea?
